The Days of Our Lives....

trystinnToday has been a fairly interesting day...
It began with a call on Josh's cell phones that our naughty dogs had gotten out of our brand new fence and were playing with a dog around the corner. Adrenaline is not a fun thing first thing in the morning!
Our female rabbit, Amber, is absolutely positively pregnant...which is interesting since we "absolutely positively have two female rabbits" or so we were told. Time to schedule another neutering. I wonder if they give bulk discounts?
I finished the Purim flyer for the local Jewish community - can't wait for our next Hebrew class, followed up by a Purim party. So tomorrow I'll be posting the flyers around town and in the Chaplain's Center.
The co-coordinator of WIPNO sent me one of those "Wiccan textbooks" pdf files and asked me to review and comment...damn the thing is the worst case of fluffy, recreational tripe I've read in years. We've been reviewing material to offer via our WIPNO and WIPA groups. So far nothing has made the cut, sadly. Took me an hour, then she came over and we discussed it. She's a marvelous gal and I'm so thankful she hasn't fallen for all the hype or one of those obnoxious 'holier than thou' local pagan groups I could name. One of these days I need to get her over to the NSDG.
Still laughing at all the St. Patrick's Day pagan flame wars...I'm now adding it to a list of my 'ultimate fluffy' topics.
Finally got my mezuzah hung...L-shaped entries don't really allow for proper placement so awaiting additional instruction and ideas from our Rabbi.
My mother has finally decided to get her compressed vertebrae (sp?) surgery - which means she may not be able to travel by our handfasting...shoot me now. I just cannot begin to think about the handfasting!
On top of all that, I'm not getting over this cold...ARGH
