Desperately missing...
Dec. 30th, 2004 09:35 amAfter spending today looking at the litter of EIGHT Golden Retriever puppies from which my parents selected one lucky little girl, Josh and I are desperately missing our sweet furries. I'm wondering how our doggies are doing at the "Winter Spa", and how Fudgie and the buns are doing back at home! ACK! Josh and I are all mopey and shit...
but the visit is going beautifully, its wonderful to see everyone: Natalie, Anthony (her fiancee'), though Mom's SUV has had an attack of the CARma. When leaving the litter, Emily noticed we had a flat tire, which the tire center was out of. Then we parked it on the street tonight (lots of guests) and someone HIT IT. Now the truck is fine, and the lady is, too. But geesh - half the bumper splintered into tiny plastic fragments and there's a huge hole missing from it. So much for auto testing! Turns out the lady who hit the truck is a therapist - too ironic, eh?
On top of that, we bought Chloe this wonderful Egyptian playset Monday right before we got on the plane. How odd is that? So just in case her temple doesn't get finished, we have a fall back birthday present!
