Just a moment of your time
Nov. 27th, 2007 12:34 pmThis morning, I've been enjoying the sight of baby bunnies running out of their den to frolick about before darting back in. For hours now. And I'm wishing, of course, that many of my LJ friends who adore rabbits and baby furkids were here to share this moment with me. Which got me thinking about how all this came to pass. I can't even remember who asked me to create a Livejournal account as they stopped using it a few years back, but its been a glorious ride and I've made tremendous friendships with people. Most of which I haven't met, sadly. Those I have met have become part of our extended family. And for that, I am truly grateful. Maudlin winter cold sentimentality over now, I promise.
Meanwhile, of course, the baby bunnies are still running and jumping about. And they need names. So here comes the fun! The only baby bunny we've yet found a name for is the large dark chocolate colored bunny - Kodiak, because he looks so much like a bear cub. The other three need names - the tawn colored one and the two spotties. Difficulty is high, as we need gender neutral names as they are way too young to sex. I'm adding a little description of each to inspire you.
Barely spotty, very timid, smallest. Usually the last to come out, last to go back in. (We've been calling him Tardy)
Spotted baby bunny, sticks near the barely spotty most of the time. Good jumper.
And, yes, I'll be posting more videos and pictures as soon as they turn out. :)

- Milk chocolate baby bunny, rather big, very brave. Seems a bit bossy.Barely spotty, very timid, smallest. Usually the last to come out, last to go back in. (We've been calling him Tardy)
