Spring: Changes
Mar. 17th, 2008 04:42 pmLying in bed for the last few weeks, I've been serenaded all night long by the frogs that inhabit our neighbors pond. And just last night, finches and other birds have begun singing around the clock. Which means, I really do need to start filling the bird feeders again. I've gotten lazy about that. Daffodils are coming up, just how many years do they do that, anyway? And violas sprouting up around the backyard, as well.
Amidst all these signs of Springs, Amber passed to the Rainbow Bridge sometime early this morning, joining her bondmate, Jet. Only the hardiest of things survive renewal, they say. The original inhabitants of the Orchard House, they were the inspiration for Bunhalla and all our rescued rabbits.

We will miss them.
