Zipping along

Our previous cable company, the horrid Millennium was replaced with Broadstripe awhile back. And despite my misgivings I decided to give cable another try, so Danny our local tech for all things technical came by this morning to set me up. Seems there was no reason for my cable speed internet to be so slow, so he upgraded me to what is absolutely lightning quick.

Sadly, we're still experiencing packet loss. So he'll be back on Thursday to fix that. Hopefully.

Yeah, cause packet loss is all my house's fault. We're eating your electrons, baby!

Bunhalla II

Bunhalla has always been a sad little structure. Practically since the day it was installed, we've haggled over what to do with the absolute ugliness of it. Not to mention the security issues, both against predators and weather. This has become more important since our recent raptor attack and the sighting of the 1st raccoon in living memory in our neighborhood just this week.

The overhaul will include -
cement stabilized frame
picket fencing across the front (south)- and east side
entry, probably with climbing vine for decoration
security lighting
solid polyurethane or similar tilted roofing with runoff barrels to collect rainwater
surrounding deck to include benches with storage underneath for feed, incidentals, possibly hay storage

I've finally managed to get both the money and the manpower organized, the design should be ready Friday evening for approval. The schedule, as it stands, is to have it absolutely completely finished before the end of July. Which means, of course, I'll need the collapsible pen returned from Olympia - doable trystn and dbmyrrha?
