1st workout day report
Jul. 24th, 2008 12:01 pmFirst day went pretty good, we kept it light on purpose. Today was an aerobic day, though I managed to sneak in a bit of core training as that's where I'd like to see the most improvement. Tomorrow its recumbent bike for warm up and cool down, then pure Nautilus. Note to self: buy weight cuffs.
Chris, as a nurse (he's going back to school to upgrade to an RN), is very protective of me. Thankfully, so. My glucose was checked before and after, both doing well. I did about an hour combined on the recumbent bike, 10 minutes on the stair master in five minute intervals, and then headed upstairs for a bit of core training on the Nautilus machines.
The knee brace did just fine, I could barely feel it which I hope means I'm not swelling. The healthy knee is bothering me a bit, as its been under considerable strain since the first of the knee nonsense began. I took a Motrin upon going home and have been ordered to take it easy for most of the day, then a walk before bedtime.
Yes, coach!
I needs to find me a sweaty pagan icon or something.
