Furkid Friday Funnies
Jun. 19th, 2009 12:55 pmLibby is having trouble understanding the concept of window screens. She yowls outside the windows, then jumps up on the screen and yowls some more. Needless to say, despite her small size, it makes a rather horrifying amount of noise at 3am. The bassets, of course, howl when they first hear her yowling to get in and howl again when she jumps up on the screen. Why on earth she doesn't just use the doggiedoor, I've no idea.
Like many basset hounds, Doodle is a chewer, and with their HUGE teeth they can do some damage to toys within a few minutes. He finds things, I've no idea where, and happily chomps it into pieces. Tree limbs, firewood, pine cones, etc. Today's item was an alphabet wood block, of all things. Fortunately, he has the Rock by Ruff Dawg to keep him busy. It's the only thing he'll fetch and knows by name. Mum had sent it for Gracie, who never cared for it so I've been replacing items with the Rock. At this point, he's napping with it. It's been working great, he can't even make a dent in it, but he never grows tired of trying. Must be butt flavored.
Looks like Josh has us organized for the remainder of the day - market, fixing Kevin's computer, etc. Off we go!
