TGIF - Thank Gods it's (the) Fridge

The new fridge has been installed, thank the Gods! It's looking great. Josh and Kevin will be hooking up the ice maker line. Would you believe this is the first time in my adult life (i.e. outside of Mum & Dad's) I've ever had an ice maker?

The basset boys were somewhat concerned at the "strange guy" scent in the house, but even that hilarity has wound down now. Our new GE (white) fridge is doing great, humming along and cooling down. Which means, at some point later today, I've got to go to the market!

Friday Musings - little bits of Flotsam and Jetsam

At some point last night, I forgot to put the ducks away. Which interestingly enough, isn't much of a problem because their habits are so ingrained, they put themselves away on their own. I may consider doing that more often. Predators aren't an issue and as long as the dogs keep out of the pool, this may work. The trick, as it so often is, is to keep Flash from eating their food!

The new fridge is doing great. It looks huge in the space and is half empty. I haven't put any of the magnets, etc. back on it and I may not. Heck, I've not even put the liquor and baking organizers up there. Just enjoying it in it's all new glory.

Poor Doodle's bad leg is bothering him today. He's still walking about, etc. but definitely protecting it. More to worry about.

Whidbey weather has rebounded back to normal seasonal temperatures, 64 - 71 highs in some places. It's a lovely 60F right now and I'm wandering the house in a pool coverup shirt, those things have been my saving grace during this heat wave.

Reading one book, while I write another. I'm expanding the Winter Revels erotica story, for those who've read it.

Poor Josh has duty tonight so I won't see him until tomorrow. :(
