I'm sure someone, maybe Martha Stewart, makes a 365 Cleaning calendar, but if not - be inspired.
Tuesdays are clean the bathroom days here. Bathrooms are pretty easy here since we started using an eco-cleaning spray post-shower and post-tub. Throw some septic-safe bowl cleaner in one, open the window, turn on the vent, close the door and begin cleaning the other bathroom. Vacuum and wipe down the floors, counter and sink. Polish the faucets. Check shower & tub drain for hair. Use glass cleaner on the over-sized mirrors. Consider having them removed. Contain shock at untidy appearance in those mirrors, make plans to have them removed. If feeling particularly useful, refill q-tip and cleansing pad containers, even out toothpaste left in the tube, neatly arrange extra TP rolls into Mexican pyramids atop toilet tank. Throw bathroom mats in the laundry.
Then switch bathrooms and do it all over again.
Except today is part of the pre-holiday deep cleaning, so I pulled down the blinds in my bathroom. Soaked them in dishwashing liquid for awhile, wiped them down, then stood them up to dry. Once they stop dripping I'll rehang them. Then comes the fun stuff: ironing the outer curtains (I hate ironing) and rehanging those.
Don't be too impressed. I still need to yank down the ones in the kitchen and foyer. One room per day, that's the system.
