Another busy day
Apr. 15th, 2011 04:14 pmI spent the early part of the afternoon getting a bit of organization done around the house. Roughly half the stuff on the kitchen countertops, hard liquor and bill desk have all been re-organized and in most cases, moved. Which took a heck of a lot longer than organizing the recycling for tomorrow's dump run. I even had time to wash the loveseat sofa cover, which sets me ahead of schedule going into the weekend.
I managed to muscle the exercise bike back to the Master Bedroom today. Its basically just plopped in the middle of the room, but I expect to finish the organizing and cleaning back there to facilitate its new location over the weekend. All the furkids are shedding enough to make replacements of themselves, so the whole house needs vacuuming and dusting.
I have dinner plans with friends tonight (Sushi, again, yay!) and on the Mainland tomorrow, so given the dump run and cleaning I'm going to need a nap tomorrow afternoon. Frankly, I could use one now. *slump*
I would like to mention that Doodle has missed you all desperately and has promised to sit (or in his case, lay) for portraits tomorrow. He's been a sweetheart today, having very politely stood next to the refrigerator wishing with all his might for a carrot while I was cleaning. He was waiting with such vibrating intensity that even BooBoo noticed and when I finally turned around, the both of them were staring forlornly at the fridge hoping the carrots would fly out of the veggie bin and into their ready mouths. It could happen, you never know.
