Memo to Nature
Jun. 26th, 2007 08:18 amDear Mother Nature~
I was born in Mesa, Arizona. Middle of the Sonoran Desert, quite hot as one would expect. Especially in the Summer, hottest I can recall was 128 degrees. Not a fan of heat, personally, so I moved north to the Puget Sound. Not directly, of course, but still I've ended up here and rather satisfied for all that. However, I do have a few concerns.
Its June, late June, as you'll recall. So one can imagine my surprise early this morning to find frost on the ground. Frost. And the odd realization that I had foggy breath.
Frost.
Foggy breath.
Late June.
Just saying.
Love,
Tris
P.S. Thank for the roses, they are gorgeous!
