trystinn | Sunburned and messy

After spending two days in the sun I now have the worst case of farmer tan imaginable. My arms are burning, which is making me cranky, and I've an odd little v-shaped sunburn on my chest from wearing a polo shirt to the parade yesterday morning.

Josh decided last minute to host a BBQ party last night which has left the house in less than ideal shape. Tracked dust in, general messiness (ugh - the kitchen) and a deep need to get the recycling taken out - instead of all over the damn place, including the back porch.

Since he's decided we should do it again tonight, there's not a lot of clean up I can do in the meanwhile. But I'm certainly going to give it a try, especially since

alfrecht is coming over this afternoon to spend the night. I had really hoped we'd be able to renovate that room before guests stayed in it.
