Ahh, finally have my feet up!

Friday night/Saturday morning at Wind & Tide Bookstore was a hoot! The shop looked fantastic, all the staff and volunteers were in character and dress, folks on line were all reved up and some were even in costumes. We had two kids dressed up in critter-wear: one was Hedwig, the other a dementor...neither, I'm sorry to say are in the new HP book to any real degree.

And yes - dear friends, I've finished the book already, which should come as a surprise to no one. I'd throw tons of spoilers on here, but as most of my friends would kill me for ruining it for them, I'm going to try to behave myself while I wait for everyone to catch up.

Saturday was incredibly long - Josh had a coven lesson, so the High Priestess came up with her daughter to visit and hold class with him and afterwards we all made hand-made incense cones, which appears to be one of those "things we must know". Can't say I enjoyed making them - the goop looks like dogshit - though it smells great and was pretty easy once the ingredients were prepared. So now that I've got all these - what the hell am I going to do with them? A couple dozen are on my kitchen counter curing (our take - I sent her home with more than half of the goop) and I'm not so crazy about the smell I want to be using them constantly.

Ange, Josh & I headed out for Seattle to see "Charlie and the Chocolate Factory" at the Imax at the Pacific Science Center Saturday evening. Hysterical stuff and I'm glad we saw it at the Imax. Since Josh will no doubt buy the DVD, it will be interesting to compare the two. Along the way, we saw old ATC friends on the I-5, Ray & Tracie. I'm not positive they recoginized me (I was heavily bundled up due to Ange driving her PT Cruiser with the top down), but the Victory sign from Ray makes me think they did.

Josh went to the game at Safeco today, came home an hour or so again and is already out cold and tucked in bed.
