New weight stats
Aug. 18th, 2008 01:39 pmWonderful progress, new maximums. Which means, I'm going to need new weight gloves with the bar holders (aka hooks) because grip fatigue is killing my stats. My body can lift more, but my hands cannot. *grrr* Tried a dozen grips, nothing really worked well, though the padded ones were better than the metal ones that ripped up my finger tips since I use fingerless gloves. This really comes into play on the Lower Back pulls, where I know I could easily max out the machine (300). But having hooks will help with other lifts like the bench and squat press, hooks aren't great for pushing but its better than straining a ligament in my palm.
SHOULDER 160
TRICEPS 140
TRAPEZOID 125
BICEPS 95
ABDOMINALS 155
ADD 135
ABB 210
BENCH PRESS 190
SQUAT 250
CALF PRESS 370
LEG PRESS 525
LOWER BACK 240
Odd weight lifting trivia - while doing my squats, apparently my back popped back into alignment. For girls, this is that spinal knob under the 'hump'. Its now flat, and my neck, shoulders and upper arms have never felt better, nice and loose with no crackles.
Dear Gods, I've never felt this good. *gush* My A1C was 5.8, I'm losing inches and my blood pressure (after weight lifting, mind) was 128/78. Me likee!
