Garden Season Has Begun

I'm absolutely ecstatic!

The first gardener of the season has come to pick up rabbit poo and rabbit tea. I had cleaned out Bunhalla this morning, moving Sam to his very own exercise pen. So I had almost 3/4 of a wheelbarrow full of fresh poo for Suzan & a 5 gallon container of rabbit tea, I had to laugh when she was concerned about taking "all the poo!" No worries, I'll more in a week, really. Never ending supply, actually. Take all you want!

Her daughter, Miranda, is such a cutie, spent about an hour in Bunhalla feeding the bunnies carrots. Even got to hold little Sam, Martha and Noir. Petting zoo season has begun with a great start.

I'm a wee bit ripe, so off to the shower with me!

For whatever reason, Bingo decided that he was going to dig to China today. The kids put him in his cage upstairs for a while, and had to work to get some more newspaper down in there. Thankfully, he has stopped. :)

Rabbit poo + water + time = rabbit tea, the most effective fertilizer you'll ever use! Damn does it smell, though. Burn out your nose hairs.

He'll do it again, though. Usually they dig when they are bored, so he may need more toys to stimulate him. Might be time to try a ball or parrot-type toys.

If you've got a digger, he's a digger for life. Give him some material to play in and he'll have a ball - Sam is our official digger, btw. :)

Oh yeah, it's horrifying. 5 gallon water jug filled about 1/5th with pellet, fill with water, then allow time to do it's work. Roll and shake on occasion.

Will burn your nose hairs out, it smells so bad! But makes great fertilizer.

Ahahahahaha. I thought it might be something like this. Wasn't quiiite sure how that worked since bunny poo is solid, and pee would be rather hard to collect lol
