Wondrous Hubby Weekend

After years of waiting, Josh set me up with my own water faucet out at the rabbit pen. Granted, it's not a buried line - yet. But in the meanwhile, taking care of the rabbits and ducks has been made MUCH easier. Granted, once its nears freezing this winter, we'll have to shut down the water line from the house.

We also, oddly enough, found a front water faucet we knew nothing about. We disconnected the old broken (Josh broke it) sprinkler system and found a faucet hiding behind the system. Which means, I've yet another outdoor water faucet I need to cover come freezing temps, but in the meanwhile, I can actually water my front plants! *joy!*

It is, most assuredly, the little conveniences in life that give pleasure. I'd like a front porch someday. Maybe I'll find it behind some bramble on the north side of the house.

Absolutely, the big things have rarely given more than temporary, fleeting pleasure. But the little things make me smile for years afterward.
