Book review on the Kybalion

Just received this from a wonderful group called TamariskCrescent:

We are going to discuss the Kybalion together. It's been discussed here before, but we didn't finish it
then. Everyone feel free to join in.

The Kybalion can be found here:
http://www.hermetics.org/pdf/kybalion.pdf
There is also a printed copy available:
http://search.barnesandnoble.com/booksearch/isbnInquiry.asp?isbn=0911662251

The Kybalion is a short tract on Hermetic philosophy, written in the early years of the 20th century by
'Three Initiates': William Walker Atkinson (aka Yogi Ramacharaka), Paul Foster Case (founder of BOTA) and
Michael Whitty, three well known occultists in their days. The Kybalion used to be standard reading in
American occult circles and remains so in the more traditionally oriented occult groups today.

The K. is written as a commentary on a supposedly ancient collection of Hermetic axioms. Although this
collection is almost certainly not ancient at all, the K. nevertheless is a very good introductory overview
of modern Hermetic philosophy.
