trystinnBeen an odd day, really.
I overslept and woke up late with a low blood sugar so I couldn't risk driving myself to the hospital for a fasting blood sugar. To top that off, the contractor was an hour and a half late, so I canceled him. We may try again for Friday, but at this rate, I'm not terribly enthused about the whole thing.
I called Diane and asked her if she wanted the 60 or so books I'd decided to rehome. She's at the point of closing down, so she didn't think so. Instead, I listed them with PaperBackSwap and have already had two trade, those are wrapped up and ready to go. I still have 6 I'm waiting for authorization to ship, so that's pretty good for a half hour's work listing all those books by ISBN. Five more I traded for credit, have wrapped and will ship to Amazon tomorrow.
Update: I was so enthused about this, I went back through the bookshelves and found more to rehome. Another 4 have been wrapped and shipped, with another 7 waiting for authorizations.
Update 2: And I just added two more dozen books to PBS. Whee!
Tomorrow's a busy day -

drop off thrift store items
drive to Mt. Vernon to pickup Tiger's dog food
see "The Help"
