1) Was 2005 a good year for you?
The first and last three months were the best. The middle notsomuch.

2) What was your favorite moment of the year?
Josh and I got married the same weekend as my birthday. Yes, I did this on purpose with much prompting from the VA who gave us our mortgage and was the prime reason we eloped when we did.

3) What was your least favourite moment of the year?
When the water heater died the first three days in our new home.

4) Where were you when 2005 began?
I have absolutely no idea. Apparently, it wasn't very memorable :)

"5) Who were you with?
Josh. Now, #4 seems somewhat rude.

6) Where will you be when 2005 ends?
Probably at home.

7) Who will you be with when 2005 ends?
Family and friends.

8) Did you keep your new years resolution of 2005?
A few: Got initiated, lost some weight, got my diabetes under control, worked on my pre-requisites for graduate school.

9) Do you have a new years resolution for 2006?
Get into graduate school, write novel, make millions, lose even more weight or get plastic surgery for similar effect. Just kidding on that last part - somewhat. Damn. Shit. Shut up.

10) Did you fall in love in 2005?
More so, yes.

11) If yes, with who?
Hubby

12) If yes, do they know?
Hmn, he may have noticed. Blow jobs do tend to be obvious, don't they?

13) Are you still in love with them?
Definately.

14) You regret it?
No time for regrets, too busy snuggling.

15) Did you breakup with anyone in 2005?
A few friends, mostly because the friendships had become unhealthy.

16) Did you make any new friends in 2005?
Not as many as I'd like, I'm a solitary creature who feels guilty about it.

17) Who are your favourite new friends?
My Elders, definately, but then there's Tom. We all adore Tom and will have him in our evil BTW clutches next year. Oh yes. We will have him. /insert evil cackling

18) What was your favourite month of 2005?
March - we moved into our new house and adopted Glory.

19) Did you travel outside of the the country in 2005?
no

20) How many different countries did you travel to in 2005?
Geez, #19 please.

21) Did you lose anybody close to you in 2005?
Oddly enough, no. Which is really unusual in my family. Critter ran away with Tracker's help. Good thing hamsters are infinately replaceable. Spanky is much more a homebody.

22) Did you miss anybody in the past year?
Folks from my former tradition - I don't think they have any idea how much I miss them.

23) What was your favourite movie that you saw in 2005?
I hate to admit this - I didn't have one. Though Goblet of Fire is probably the easiest to put down.

24) What was your favourite song in 2005?
I listen to strange music. Its "Ondule'" by Mathieu Boogaerts, wish I spoke French so I knew what the song was about!

25) What was your favourite record in 2005?
"French Cafe" (the song above is on it), followed closely by "Arabic Groove"

26) How many shows did you see in 2005?
Shows meaning movies? Several dozens. Otherwise, nope.

27) Did you have a favourite concert in 2005?
Nope, I hate concerts. Too loud. Shut up.

28) Did you drink a lot of alcohol in 2005?
less than most years

29)Did you do any drugs in 2005?
Does absinthe count?

30) How many people did you sleep with in 2005?
are we talking sexually or when everyone grabs some floor or readily available sofas and beds down? Sex = hubby. Sleep, only = a few (coveners!)

31) Did you do anything you are ashamed of this year?
Hmn...discretion would have been a better course of action, quite a few times as I recall.

33) What was the worst lie someone told you in 2005?
I can't really think of a one. Most folks know better than to lie to me at this point. Probably that a bunch of folks I consider friends told me something to be polite, when really, they should have been more truthful for all our sakes.

34) Did you treat somebody badly in 2005?
Sure, I'm rather self-driven so I can be somewhat confused when folks tell me I'm ignoring them or not giving them enough attention, etc. I have a bad habbit of assuming folks will speak up when I'm not giving them what they need.

35) Did somebody treat you badly in 2005?
Who would dare? :) A dear friend gave me a real "put me in my place" lecture that I'm still not sure I really deserved. But since its from him, whom I infinately respect, maybe I did. Hard to say. Jury?

36) How much money did you spend in 2005?
Less than usual and less than other years, but more than I should have. Its the house, damnit. Houses need money more than evangelists do! They are worse than boats. Complete money pits!

37) What was your proudest moment of 2005?
Marrying Josh before my friends and coveners.

38) What was your most embarrassing moment of 2005?
Oh geez, this one is strange. Hubby and I dropped by a local festival (run by my former tradition) to say hi to folks. Turns out we really screwed up the timing, as we got there about a half hour before ritual start or something similar. My fault, as I've forgotten the time line as its been a few years since I was involved with the festival. However, I must say in my own defense, we repeatedly asked if and we should head out and folks kept saying "no, not yet." See #33 & #35 for more on this."
