Shady is adorable and growing inches a day! She's wearing a harness when we take her outside to nibble in the herb garden.

Wendy has hatched her chicks - picy goodness coming as soon as we finish the Mother's Day phone calls. Salt hatched her solo chick. Ruth, your namesake, is still brooding with her friends - we're calling it the chicken coven. The 3 of them are brooding in ONE nesting box! And the 4th insists on laying her eggs in there, as well.
