Looking forward to Full Moon

I know there's a lot of folks who hate mid-week Full Moon rituals, but I'm not one of them. On some facet, it's along the lines of "full moon, ritual, Cake & Ale, great family, lots of learning and fun - what's not to like?" variety, but often enough, its because mid-week ritual has a sort of quick, brisk rhythm to it. A jig vs a waltz, its a question of mood and the beat of your drummer.

A long lazy Sabbat day, complete with projects, ritual and feast is lovely, but its the difference between that wonderful casual toss-it-together family meal vs a formal, white-glove eight-course meal. I rather secretly prefer those "roll up your sleeves, folks, we gots work to do!" mid-week Full Moons. And that gung-ho attitude suits me just fine!

Here's the the Hump Day Gung-ho!

Heh, our coven tends to meet Wednesdays so we do the FM on the closest Wed or Sat... you won't find me griping about a mid week FM. My kids however, cleaning house for company, gripe plenty.

LOL I always think cleaning for the coven is good for kids! Teaches them to be good hosts and hostesses.

But then, I only work a few days a week, so a mid-week ritual, even with a 2 hour drive each way isn't a big issue with me.

One of the few benefits of having the covenstead be at your place is the lack of a commute. But, been there, done that, done the fly your teacher down for rituals bit, too... :)

Gonna be awhile before our home is a covenstead!
