Babies, we gots babies!

Look what we found cleaning out the cage today:

Surprise, surprise. Actually, 8 - 10 little surprises. We immediately put them back in the cage and Mom is nursing them without too much fuss.

Anyone want a teddy bear hamster in a month?

Sounds good, I take it there's a preference for two of the same gender so you can keep them in the same cage?

Yes...but they're sleeping on [livejournal.com profile] trystn's side of the bed.

Where is this imaginary "habitrail" supposed to reside in my tiny house? She muses to herself...

LMAO I'm thinking of moving mine to the bathtub, in case one of the little munchkins gets loose.

The noises don't phase me at all, but hubby hates the wheel squeeks.

Dab a little Vaseline on the central hub of the wheel and it won't squeek.

Yep, got mineral oil on it now.

Frankly, with his flightdeck hearing I have no idea how he hears it at all! Between the humidifier and the ceiling fan, all I can hear is his snoring.
