And, yet still, we walk merrily along...

Another little one died over the night, which though we expected was a bit heart-wrenching as we had handfed him and kept him warm. At this point, we've four left and are making sure they stay hydrated best we can. Trying to round out a miserable day, we decided some entertainment was in order. A game of Navy Monopoly went into serious overtime last night (really about 1:30 am) and we're absolutely paying for it today.
Josh, Kevin and Danielle are busy working on re-installing the fence today. I'm torn between freaking out that it's been two months and yet here we are, again, screwing with the damn thing last minute. Josh likes doing things in the nick of time, as he calls it. Me, personally, I prefer my stomach to having an intact lining so this is definately one of those things we'll have to talk about later. The shed kit will be delivered Wednesday, which means Danielle and I will have this week to get the rabbit den moved to the summer location before next weekend's "Barn Raising". This would all be so much easier if my foot wasn't still aching and swelling when stood upon too long! And I STILL have no idea if my Dad is flying in next weekend or not. *sulk*
However, despite all the above, we're off for Beltane tonight. Staying at a covensib's tonight, which is a hoot since I've never been to Anna's place, seen her rabbits, her dog Sabra or Anna in her natural environment. Cannot wait to see the garden! She's planning a big fish fry night (yummy!) and hopefully, an early night since we're leaving Kirkland before dawn to get to Seattle's Gasworks Park. Looks like we'll be significantly bundled up, so the aforementioned warm weather wardrobe does not apply here. At this point, all I can say is "look for the black over-the-shoulder bag with red embroidered pentagram". Seriously. The rest is subject to change without notice!
Dragging the camera along with me for some serious pic'y goodness Monday afternoon!
