Loads of fun already....
May. 27th, 2006 01:43 pm"Woke up this morning with a pounding allergy-sinus thing, so I'm still stalking the house in pj's and my robe. Yay, me. Do have a friend from the PNO coming over so I can describe some basic home protection and warding techniques, which is really just an excuse to hang out. Be nice to have a friend over a few hours, even if I am zombie-like at the present.
Dad rang this morning to thank us for the martime signal flag stained glass we sent him as a thank you for the shed. So grateful he liked it, he's impossible to buy for since he has zero hobbies and too much money, just buys whatever he wants so chances are if he wanted something he'd have it already. We bought him RWS, his initials which should look beautiful in his office. I've got a few ideas for ones I'd adore around our home, too. If anyone is interested, we bought them through this site, I do wish they offered larger ones, though. 4x4 is kinda small for each, 9x9 would have been much more interesting."
Fun with buns moment: Stalked outside to give Josh the phone and grabbed a handfull of dandelions for the buns. I almost always toss them in near the gate, so they're used to this by now and plan for it. Seeing me coming, Amber ran out grabbed a large leaf in her mouth almost before it hit the ground and ran off, which Jet close on her heels. They did a few 360s around their bedding shed before running out of breath. They came to a stop on top of the dandelion pile and are now just contentedly munching away happily.
Probably the only funnier thing I've seen them do, is for each to grab opposite ends of a single dandelion flower stalk and work their way to the middle a'la "Lady and the Tramp". I do notice Jet always gets the flower, but she's the top in the relationship, anyway. We know this because of the rather insane amounts of humping going on at any given time.
Rabbit humping and pj's - this is my day.

Date: 2006-05-27 11:17 pm (UTC)The mountains are partially covered in mist - as is the ocean. Very pretty.
There are lots of people down by the water.
I kind of miss having an actual yard or "outdoors" but I now live near the ocean... so it's a trade.
Today I've been cleaning up around the house - and preparing to give some furniture to a friend who needs it. It'll be nice having a bit more space.
The call of learning to be a "godhi" is strong. but as with all things, success in life comes first so I'm busy finding more productive and relaxing work. How's that? :)
