The weather has changed...

Last night while carrying hay to the rabbit pens, I first smelled it. Looked to the horizon to verify and saw the distinct cloud pattern. There was no mistaken it, the bite in the air, the moisture in the soft clouds overhead.

Autumn is coming.

Today: I am so grateful that the rains are coming.

Our weather is finally changing as well. Our summer pattern has broken; we got rain for the first time in a long time and the temperature has plummeted.

Due to be only a balmy 89 here today; far better than 100-105 that it has been (break out the sweaters :-) ).

I was noticing the trees along Hwy 520 this afternoon on my way home from Redmond are starting to turn. Of course, we have 80F weather forecast for the weekend...sigh...
