Enough already, I'm up!
Sep. 29th, 2006 08:04 amHaving been asked to alter my working hours to come in a half hour earlier the next few days, I'm trying desperately to reset my internal clock. Not easy for an insomniac, even harder when a good friend keeps you up watching DVDs until midnight the night before. This morning, the world is veiled in milky fog, I can barely see the neighbors homes and en route to the shower I was treated to the hysterical visual of rabbits hopping through the mist. Or maybe the Lunesta hadn't quite worn off.
I adore listening to NPR in the morning, "patchy fog" you say? Try fog the thickness of whole milk, darlings. I-5, 405 & 90 backed up you say? My commute to work: 10 minutes and I live outside of town and work downtown. Ahh well, joke is on me, they are widening our "main road" here to four lanes. It was previously two, as in one in either direction. Rumors abound that there's a traffic light and left turn lane planned for our private community.
Joy.
