Household Menagerie Memo

First off, I'd like to commend everyone for their wonderful warmth and good will over the last month. Between the windstorms, power outtages and cold snaps - we all worked together very well. On behalf of the Management, may I express our deep gratitude for the cooperation and courtesy extended. That said, as the weather has returned to Whidbey Island norms for this time of the year, its back to business, as usual. With that in mind, here are the guidelines for a return to normalcy. Well as normal as it can be.
1) Buns. You've had a week in the lap of luxury in the master bath and sadly, it shows. Therefore, the lagamorphs shall return to their outdoor pen soonest. The housekeeper will arrive tomorrow and try to return our master bath to its previous glory. Note to lagamorphs - there was a litter box available, though apparently rarely used. Additional training to be held on this issue.
2) Elder dogs. You've both held up well and we appreciate your maturity and sacrifice. Keep up the great work!
3) Younger dogs. This department needs to find a balance, as results were very mixed. While the Border Collie is doing very well and has made significant improvements, the basset hound has not. From this moment forward, unless supervised by humans, young basset protocol shall return to its original crate program until futher training can be completed.
Yours truly,
Fudgemeister,
