Revenge of the Sith...
May. 19th, 2005 01:07 pmHaving watched the movie in the wee hours of the morning and returned home around 5 am, I just wish I could say something nicer about the movie.
But I can't.
Talk about uneven...parts were very good, parts were horrid. The movie slammed from one part of the galaxy to the other with mind-numbing speed and very little information about the worlds. The fight scenes were drawn out and boring (let's face it, we all knew Kenobi was going to survive this movie and that made for a few yawns, plus to be fair, it was 3 AM), the dialogue (especially in the romantic scenes) was frightfully banal and the Darth Vader Frankenstein impression at the end was absolutely annoying as all hell.
And the worst part - CHEWIE GOT ROBBED! He was on the screen a whole 3 minutes combined...though R2D2 was hysterical as a Jedi's best friend.
Ahhh, time to dust off the old video tapes and recall the wonder of the original three.
