Me and my big kitchen

Tuesday evening I allowed myself to be talked into making two loaves of challah (which is how much my favorite recipe makes and very much a full day of bread making) for tonight's Shabbos, only to get an email during the week asking if I "would mind, pretty please, making an additional two challahs. And bring a vegetable dish"? Good thing I bought a really huge bag of fresh flour on Wednesday. Yikes! So now I've a double batch of challah dough fermenting in the stove. Grr....four challah is enough, dearie, I'll bring a few cans of veggies and that'll have to do. Its a very, very good thing I happen to adore this lady. I can't help but thinking she'd be perfectly at home in any circle, chanting and dancing in her gorgeous homemade skirts. Meanwhile, I miss Josh :/
