Boat day #3

Another 3am day, fortunately the last one this week unless plans change. Its odd having one's household at the mercy of an act of Congress and worst yet, the chimp in the White House.

I've been working to get the house ready for Foxglove and Thistle, having realized I really miss having household buns when I fostered Peony and Zen. The Bunnyhala buns wouldn't adapt to life as indoor buns and I wouldn't want to split them up in any case. Given Tracker's declining health, my concerns about him endangering the buns are declining - frankly, I'm going to be surprised if he lasts until the end of July and a few bright spots of joy will be most welcome in the household at that point. *sigh*

I'm trying to rig a rolling stand for the large rabbit cage, so I can move it about easier. The back porch serves quite well as an exercise pen, though once they get a bit larger we can cordon off a section of the large outdoor pen for them, too. See how they all get along, etc. I'm desperately hoping the two buns are the same gender, so we don't have to separately house them - as that had such unexpected results last time we tried that!
