The Owl's Flyby

I've mentioned the cranky owl in the front yard, the one that likes to screech at me when I'm outside at night. A moment ago it swooped down from a height right across the front office windows (the ones where the indoor bunnies are) and (I assume) went after a mouse or cottontail. The resulting noise and flash of white past the windows had me jumping out of my chair and running outside. Needless to say, the indoor rabbits didn't notice a thing and the outdoor rabbits are completely calm.

He's probably up on the roof laughing his feathered ass off. My heart is still pounding in my chest.
