Honestly, its not that I like the heat. I really, truly don't. But its August now and still in the fifties most days. And we're on our third woodstove fire of the week.

Brrr.

Meanwhile, I'm off to put a sweater over my long sleeved shirt.

Libby Update - Day Four

Josh has been notified of the new addition. *whew!*

Not only has she begun bullying the dogs, she's gaining quite a lot of weight. When we brought her home she was 1.2 pounds, she's now about 1.6 pounds. Her fur, thankfully, has gotten much smoother and silkier with the combination of flea treatment, Omega 3 oil and good food. That said, she's eating no less than about a dozen times per day!

Also, for those curious and into homeopathy - citrus kills fleas, so most lemon dish washing detergents will do quite well to rid a small pet of fleas. I've been rubbing her down with lemon oil which makes for a very odd smelling, if clean, smelling kitten.
