On Saturday we received a notice that we missed delivery of a parcel that required a signature. The little receipt was mysterious, having only "Triple Pillars" written on it. All this was incredibly odd as our carrier, Becky, and I have our routine sorted out quite well. She honks from the driveway and I run out to grab the parcels. But absolutely never on Saturdays.

So after waiting for a few days in hopes Becky would deliver it, I finally gave up and went into town today to pick it up. Unfortunately, that nearly blank slip is a problem. There's no package number, no address (yes, I know my address but this was very upsetting to poor Terry behind the counter), no helpful information at all. Joe, the Supervisor, was summoned and we commenced to debate the issue. As far as I know, I'm not expecting anything for Triple Pillars and certainly nothing that needs to be signed for. Whomever covered RH2 (my route) on Saturday is likely to get their head handed to them on a silver platter. Not that I wanted that, but Terry insisted.

Needless to say, there's an investigation now.

I got ten bucks on a goat, it's as likely a good guess as anything at this point.
