Crushingly, it turns out I didn't get a pic of the fluffy jack ass. Will see what can be done about getting a few, post-haste. Sorry!

A great day here at our little hobby farm, this morning's rain has tapered off and the clouds have moved on so the Sun can warm our little bit of Whidbey. Having bored myself completely while stuck indoors, I opened the windows (finally) and headed outside.

First off, moving the younger ducklings outdoors. The brooder is really just too small for them at this point but options are limited. They need to get up to at least the size of the Campbells before I can begin integration. This will not be a problem for the Rouens, who are growing in leaps and bounds, but the thinner Runners may have a time of it.

Speaking of moving the ducklings outside, did you know a bucket works great for this?

Foxglove visits the younger ducklings.

And steals samples their food. The rabbits and ducks get along quite well, but they won't tangle with Fox or Martha.

Thief!

Meanwhile, the Campbells enjoy fresh feed and greens. Gods, aren't they getting huge? Not quite fully adult, they need to gain weight but they are nearing adult-size. Their down has almost completely been replaced by feathers. At this point, they adore being sprinkled with the garden hose.

Gracie, of course, immediately goes on herding duty.

Libby loves to hide in the garden cart and among the other assorted wagons, usually so she can jump out and attack the Doodle (Dozer).

Action ducks! Libby is hiding in the bushes waiting to pounce on Doodle which is why he's barking at her:

The Furkids are all worn out now (Gods, isn't Libby getting huge?)

In other news, Mum sent me a great box. Look forward to a loot post (placemats, earrings, knives, etc.) tomorrow, should nothing insanely cute otherwise occur.
