Pandalerium in the Duck Enclosure

I trimmed a few of the alders between the house and the duck pen and since alders aren't poisonous to ducks, I decided in a fit of mischievousness to throw the branches in there as a treat. This ensued:

Ducks run around enclosure, quacking in full paranoia - "The sky is falling, the sky is falling!"

One brave duck approaches - "No, not sky. Tree."

Ducks run around quaking, in circles - "The trees are attacking, the trees are attacking!"

Brave duck takes a nibble - "Tree is yummy!"

Ducks run over, flapping wings and begin devoring the trees - "Lunch!"

Talk about drama queens!
