Beautiful days of Early Spring
Mar. 20th, 2010 04:10 pmWe've been very fortunate with our weather of late. Josh and I have been spending as much time as we can on the motorcycle. Among our travels around and about, we also found a lovely little Philippine restaurant - I've fallen in love with Banana Ketchup (the kind without any tomatoes, obviously).
Unfortunately, only a few of our new plants were able to be planted. The Madronas are in place on either side of the driveway. I suppose I should be worried about the hanging electrical lines above, but frankly by the time they are a problem we'll be old and gray. The Huckleberries need to be planted along the fences, hopefully in a few years they will provide privacy and a healthy crop for ourselves and our poultry. The Oregon Myrtle has been planted, as well as the big Fern and the Western Hemlocks, too.
Now if I could just decide where to plant the Lavender.
