Tuesday: Coming Around Again
Aug. 3rd, 2010 12:22 pmI'm coasting on the high of getting a perfect grade (A+) on my Advanced Psychopathology final on Antisocial Personality Disorder. Modern technology is a fabulous thing when you can get your grade within 24 hours of turning it in via email.
Josh is home for the day, currently watching West Wing re-runs in his boxers while resting his head on Doodle. It's a homey visual and one I will miss come the next deployment. It's chilly today (54F), we're tucked under blankets and using the Bassets as hot water bottles. Gracie, as always, is thankful that the boys aren't up to their usual hi-jinks and napping, herself.
Today will be a long day, I have an appointment to discuss the sharp increase in migraines (after a quick stop at the lab for a pregnancy test, no worries there), a Depo Provera shot and then pick up medication refills. I also need to swing by Department of Licensing to turn in the motorcycle endorsement (yes, I had forgotten entirely about this) and then, final class in Psychopathology.
During the above, likely as I sit for long periods of time in waiting rooms, I'll finish up the PowerPoint presentation for tonight's class. I appreciate the concept of presenting papers, but I have to admit my ability to make a creative presentation about Antisocial Personality Disorder is rather limited. Not to mention, I truly suck at making graphics. I have the ability to appreciate graphic art, but not the skill to create it.
