Sold 3 ducks so far

Sold three of the mix duck females, including little Prima. They are off to a great little farm, the lady thinks she may want some of the small ducklings once they feather out a bit and once they are large enough to sex.

East Wing Pen #1 (3): Rouen - 2 hens hatched in June, Khaki Campbell - Bernie.
East Wing Pen #2 (6): 4 Blue Swede drakes (hatched beginning of June), Stock & Holmes
East Wing Pen #3 (5): Swedes - Granny Weatherwax (Silver) & Pops (Silver), Babs (Black), 2 Blue Swedes gals (hatched first week of June).
West Wing Pen #1 (12): KC (Lucy) and 11 ducklings (2KC & 9 Swede mixes).

Which is, as you may imagine, much more manageable!

This will leave me with, approximately:
WWP1: 4 Khaki Campbells
WWP2: 9 Swede Mix ducklings to sort out (hatched 7/25)
WWP3: 5 Blue Swedes

By the middle of September, I should be able to sex the ducklings, give or take a few weeks. I should also be able to tell if they are purebred or if not, what they are mixed with. Once that's done and the sales sorted out, we should be good going in to Winter with decent breeding stock for next year. Good layers, too.

Derek came by to work on the yard and kindly agreed to spend some of his afternoon power washing the back porch. Which is really great, because my lungs are aching and I need to take it as easy as I can. Still waiting on my delivery of Black Marans. :D
