Gratitude Post

I am grateful for our mild summers. Its overcast, 60F and I'm wearing long-johns in the house. The adult rabbits are huddled together under the park bench in their pen outside, while the dogs are curled up into tight little balls all over the house. Going to have to close a few windows soon, just too chilly and damp.

Gotta love the Pacific Northwest and those arctic currents!

A couple of weeks ago, I was waxing eloquent to Jay about those rare summer days in NJ and NY when it was chilly and damp and you had to put on a sweatshirt or even turn on the heat for an hour.

He laughed and told me it simply didn't happen here. Ever.
