Fog soup

Incredibly chilly morning here, roughly 52 with heavy fog. Threw on a coat and took a walk through the neighborhood with my camera. Unfortunately, due to the dark hour, not a single picture came out. Not to mention the "bubbles", that often show up in photos around our home. I've cleaned the lens multiple times, so its either something inside the camera or something else. *WEG*

Going to try again in a half hour when its a bit brighter.

You have no idea how much I long for a morning that requires layers of clothing and the enticement of hot beverages. We're looking at yet another day where the heat index is around 105°. I can't cook, I can't clean, I can't breathe, I can't think.

I can, however, sweat like Elvis.

I wish I could bottle up a dark, cool foggy morning and send it to you etherically so you could wake up tomorrow inside it.

*sigh*

OOOO, I wanna see the bubbles! Are they clear orb things with a dot in the center?

You know, I stupidly deleted them from the memory stick. But I have great examples of this. All these photos of our circle were taken in a row at the same time. Yet the bubbles are in different places, different depths, different sizes.

They look like fuzzy bubbles to me, but I've been staring at them for years. You tell me - you're the visual artist!

I'd almost knock somebody off for 52 and heavy fog right now. I'm so envious.

School is still going 1/2 days for this week and maybe next because the school buses have no air. They did a test and found it to be 109 on one bus. Some kids have passed out or have been taken to the hospital. Several people have died. It's almost 90 in the house right now with the air on.

I wish I had plane fare...I'd beg a visit and come back in the fall. *sigh*

.

I could give you a list. *WEG*

You and yours would always be welcome here. You and Daddy could have the den, the kids could bunk in the Temple on inflatables.

I might take you up on that one day. We've always wanted to visit the Pacific Northwest!

We'll be ready when you are. You know (hint, hint) Ruth is coming out for DB's wedding next year, I'm sure we can get you on the invite list.

Now that I think about it we could get the kids to 'camp out' in the RV. Remember when that was so incredibly exciting? *WEG*
