Mental Health Break
After leaving the house for D&D last night, I granted myself a 24 hour break from working on the website. I've been insanely focused on this to the point of pretty much ignoring Josh and the furkids. They've been remarkably patient and understanding, but really, they deserve my undivided attention for awhile.
Speaking of D&D, we've had a breakthru with the parents of the unruly, "Guitar Hero" playing crotchdroppings. No video games after 10pm unless they are handheld and quiet, which meant that *shockers* the kids actually spent time hanging out with each other instead of staring dully at the screaming tv set. Huge improvement. We also wrapped the game up by 11pm, everyone was just too tired and the DM was in a rotten mood - which made for a very, very deadly game. On that note, he ordered everyone to procure new d20s since all of them were rolling horribly bad and goofing up the game.
My initiative rolls all night were 1s & 2s, which is the D&D equivalent to your character spending an hour with their feet up on a barco lounger. That said, I didn't lose any hit points. However, neither did I manage to kill anything. And I really, really wanted to kill that 10 foot tall spider. Bad Druid. *WEG*

And they're both starting to work together - and starting to NOT charge the superior-powered foes.... which are supposed to be "background".
Soon enough they'll figure out how to deal with the current nuisance and actually ROLE play! :)
