Doctor's appointment went well, she's still a tad concerned over the fact my glucose levels are going higher, but wants to wait it out a bit before we start even talking about insulin. Back on Zocor, which is fine, as I've no side effects on it, doubling up on the Zyrtec and I got handed another Albuterol inhaler...all fine.
Since the lab 'forgot' to run my A1C on Friday, when they took blood and ran all the other tests I had to give blood again to the phlebotomists. Good thing I'm completely unfazed by needles or this could be an issue, especially with all the jabbing I do via the fingertips daily. This was a new gal and though she got it on the first shot, I'm now sporting a magnificent bruise in the elbow area. She's a fierce jabber, she is!
Josh spent the morning with a borrowed Rototiller breaking up the circle ground and getting the embankment ready for the retaining wall. Seems there's a rather large amount of rocks and boulders in the "back 40", very exciting. Our dear geriatric collie, Glory, hung out with him the entire time and if a dog hanging out with a gas-power tiller isn't enough evidence of her deafness, I have no idea what would be!
So today, once it cools down I'll work on weeding the front borders of the spiral walk. Dear hubby took a look at "Creating Sacred Space" and now has ANOTHER idea...geesh! He's considering changing our simple spiral walk to a more complicated left turn spiral, so one would walk in both directions on the way to the circle. Hubby has decided to till his Buddha shrine, so I can check that off my To Do List this week.
Now, if only Seb would call me so we can work on those robes!
