Victoria, B.C. Trip
Oct. 8th, 2007 09:30 amThe first shots are from the ferry Elwha (Anacortes to Sidney), the rest are Victoria. In order, the pics are: Parliament, the Pier, the Empress Hotel and Darth Vader playing a violin.
I was on my cell phone when the Netherlands Centennial Carillon started playing so I only had a second to grab my camera, so please pardon the background chatter. Glorious instrument, it was playing Greensleeves at the time.

Date: 2007-10-08 07:08 pm (UTC)It's like a piece of old London from before the wars.
(that's how it's been described to me anyway - however it has been rated the "second most British city in the world - after London")
There's no work for people like me there or I'd go. My dad's a half hour away from town there.
Playing music on the bells is one of the joys at such a church - I've heard. I love to listen when they do.
