Testicle Massacre: Immanent
Today's the pre-neuter checkup for Frasier, Mistletoe and Thistle. There are several logistical issues yet to be decided such as the absolutely tiny exam rooms, the bulk of three cat carriers filled with nervous rabbits, etc. but OCD has handily provided six contingency plans based on variables such as the presence of dogs in the waiting room, wishes of the vet office, an additional person to assist me in moving rabbits around, etc. I've harnesses, leashes and carriers ready to go. I even have data cards on each rabbit with their information.
I've got Frasier's nails clipped and will get Mistletoe and Thistle's clipped once Deb arrives this afternoon. Making a "bunny burrito" is a two person job and sadly upsetting for many buns. Typically, Thistle is an old pro but being separated from Foxglove has been very stressful for him. Mistletoe is incredibly passive, but hasn't an ounce of courage with a tendency to scream and run for mommy (me).
Wish us luck!

I've helped with some mass spay/neuters back in my rescue days. They're not what I would call fun.
