And the Tryst Inn finally gets a yard man!

Zach is a very creative, hard working fourteen year old who loves dogs. I called him up last night and he showed up at noon. Actually, he was ten minutes early. I like this kid.

Right now, he's hand cutting the backyard with a scythe. He saw our collection of scythes and fell in love, I told him to find the one he likes best and keep it! He's having a hell of a time, whistling and humming under his breath, as he slides the blade cleanly through our weeds. After he lays the tall weeds low, he's going to mow it. Weed whacking shall begin after he takes a break to go swim and cool off. I'm in heaven!

Zach's put me on his schedule for noon each Monday. I have a dozen or so yard projects in mind, Zach loves them all. Should make for an interesting partnership.

Update: What a entrepreneur. Zach came back from the pool with another Zach! I've now got two of them scything their way through the yard.

Oh dear. There's a cloning pool on Whidbey! Run!

They don't look much alike, but Zach II is a hard worker, as well and is happy to work through his vacation instead of hanging out with family (I can relate).

Hmm. So the cloning pool adds some genetic diversity. Eeenteresting.

Yep, I think we're in Dr. Zhivago territory here.

Just remember--if you throw Josh into it, you're not guaranteed to get a cell-phone-free one.. ;-)

LOL He's giving me the silent treatment because I chewed his ass off via email.

Oh my...

I wish I could clone some people to clean my house...

Is there anything specific you would like from Canada? I found a little something, and the other thing my mom said no to, because it would cost too much to mail the moose to you.

Hmn. Lemme think on that. I'm afraid I'm not terribly up to speed on Canadian products other than of course your lovely over the counter medications. *WEG*

Over the counter meds...? You want a bottle of Buckley's...?

[identity profile] tryst-inn.livejournal.com 2008-06-23 11:17 pm (UTC)(link)
What's Buckleys? I was referring to the ability to get ACC over the counter.

Ahhh ok *has no idea was ACC is* Buckley's is a Canadian thing...lovely herbal cough and cold remedy :p I found you a youtube video because no American will believe me when I tell them it tastes HORRIBLE. And when I say HORRIBLE I mean *HORRIBLE*.

The Garden Gnome is still working around the neighborhood (he was mowing next door at 7:30 this morning). Your yardboys sound oh-so-much better.

Whistling with a scythe in hand, eh? Someone's been reading too much Terry Pratchett.

I was thinking I'd leave the Hogfather DVD on top of the tv to see if I get any reaction.
