trystinn | The Perils of Popularity

Flash was asked several weeks ago to march in the July 4th parade by the local Democrats. Part of this, I believe, is they like to show off their Navy folks. But maybe they just feel Flash is particularly Democratic, who knows? Last night at the F.E.T.C.H. dog park, our mechanic Paul leans over and asks "so I'm sure you're marching with Flash in the parade with us, how are you going to decorate Flash?"

Oops.

So now we're committed to two groups, I hope Flash commits to one or the other soon. I did buy a hell of a lot of decorations for him, so whomever he marches with he'll do so in style.

Sadly, I have not been able to find a t-shirt that reads "Ever heard of a hot piece of elephant?" over a donkey profile, so I'll be wearing something suitably dull - my red Preppy Priestess golf shirt with a colorful pin on my sunhat. Hell, I get inspired enough, I'll buy a few balloons for Flash.
