That sounds like my Wednesday bike commute. It's 8 miles round trip and a damn good workout. You're lucky you don't have to deal with bastard public transit drivers and homicidal taxis. Congrats on the accomplishment!
My doctor and physical therapist are shocked I can do this, granted, on a recumbent bike. Not ready to try the real thing for awhile as this is a truly hilly island.
