trystinn | Post Samhain - random thoughts

Samhain was lovely, if small. Even with roughly half the ritual staff brand new, it went well. I have a few ideas for next year's Samhain and perhaps a few tweaks to our modular ritual. We seem to have finally found the right locations for most items, easily found within reach and right where they need to be.

While I've found a few places we forgot to dust, I love how clean the house is. I'll catch up on the dusting this afternoon.

Inexplicably, our older cat Fudge has fallen in love with the new cauldron and naps curled up with it in the Temple. 0___o I'll make up a little catnip and burdock herb sachet later and put it in there, he'll have fun trying to get the heavy lid off if nothing else.

Trying to get our house guest to go to sleep proved difficult. Around 1am he wanted herbs for a sleeping posset. His combination. Someone's been watching too much Practical Magic. I hope it helped, I'm fairly sure I'll find it when I change the sheets on the guestroom bed.
