Shallow Musings - the Living Room by Day

Way too dark, especially now that the Autumn rains have set in. *sigh* We get very little light from those huge, obnoxious Living Room windows, even as they face North. Lamps must be found, purloined or as a last resort, purchased. Scale will be a problem as the furniture is all over-sized. I also need to move the floor lamp to somewhere it can be utilized, instead of tucked back where you practically have to put a knee up on the sofa table to turn it on.

Otherwise it's a lovely room, very livable and now with even more sitting space.

Some pix of the newly arranged and furnished room would be lovely. I'm having trouble picturing it.

We have a legend here of a great glowing orb in the sky. Personally, I don't go for these newfangled religious ideas - I prefer my religiosity to be paleolithic. Neolithic at the most modern, if you must.

I'm told if the great orb does appear, a goat sacrifice will drive it away.

Working on pics now. May actually have video, though it was likely too dark to see anything.

Ah, now I get it. When you walk in the front door, you're looking directly at the wall unit and the teal chair is in front of you, with the sofa on the left-hand wall.

Lamps in convenient places are Good Things. How about a table lamp? Or a lamp that attaches to the wall and can be swiveled about?
