Baking break

I've got the breads at places I can relax. One loaf of challah is fermenting, two loaves of focacia are on their first rising. And a lovely batch of pumpkin bread with chocolate chips mini-loaves are already in the oven.

Feet are up and I am thankful.

Maybe, I haven't really think of it very much as I mostly ate it at friends' homes for various festivals, I never made it myself or ate it at home. But! Now you have reminded me I might start hunting around. I know Isa Chandra does a whole bunch of vegan Jewish food...

I'm sure we've got a few vegan Jews in our community, I'll ask at Hannukah (when I'll likely see them next).
